Happenings for April!

• Easter is a meaningful time to reflect on themes of renewal, hope, and faith. It reminds us of the power of new beginnings and the strength that comes from believing in brighter days ahead.

• Celebrate National Coffee Cake Day on Wednesday, April 7th, with a delicious treat from Coffee Bean Espresso Bar in Yuma, AZ on S 4th Ave! We really appreciate their support of our community and love helping to support local businesses. Stop by for some tasty coffee and cake—you deserve it!

• April 20–24 is National Every Kid Healthy Week—a great reminder that protecting your kids’ future goes beyond health. Life insurance for kids can help cover unexpected expenses and lock in affordable coverage early. Let’s make sure our little ones are cared for today and tomorrow!

• On Friday, May 1, 2026, we’ll be at the Desert Coast Growers Golf Tournament at Yuma Golf & Country Club—one of the largest annual fundraisers supporting Amberly’s Place. This important event helps provide vital services to victims of domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, human trafficking, and elder abuse in our community. As a nonprofit, Amberly’s Place relies on the support of local businesses, partners, and neighbors like you to keep these critical programs going strong.
